Triaxiale carbon legsels

Triaxial fabrics made up of three layers of parallel fibres laid in any three orientations, stitched together with polyester yarn. The most commonly used and known triaxial fabrics are the ones where fibres are oriented at 0º±45º (the longitudinal direction 0º is always the direction of the length of the roll and stitching direction) and fabrics with fibres oriented at +45º 90º -45º (the layer at 90° can also be placed on the outer surface of the reinforcement).

Carbon Schering (0/-45/+45) Triaxiaal Carbon Warp Triaxials are produced with a 0/-45/+45 orientation, and range from 300gsm through to 1200gsm. Fibres utilised range from 6k through to 50k, and fabrics can be supplied with widths up to 1600mm. The weight in each axis can be modified to suit each application, with either balanced triaxials (fabrics with the same weight in each axis), or unbalanced triaxials where the fabric is engineered with more weight in the 0º degree axis.
Carbon Inslag (-45/90/+45) Triaxiaal Carbon Weft Triaxials are produced with a -45/90/+45 orientation, and range from 300gsm through to 1200gsm. Fibres utilised range from 6k through to 50k, and fabrics can be supplied with widths up to 1600mm. The weight in each axis can be modified to suit each application, with either balanced triaxials (fabrics with the same weight in each axis), or unbalanced triaxials where the fabric is engineered with more weight in the 90º degree axis.
Hybride Triaxiaal FORMAX has the ability to mix different ratios of Carbon and other fibres to create hybrid warp (0/-45/+45) and weft (-45/90/+45) triaxials. Typical hybrid triaxials are engineered using carbon fibre in one ply, and glass or aramid fibre in the other plies. However, they can also contain mixes of e-glass, aramid, or other fibres where appropriate.
